Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) is located
in the southern Mojave Desert, one of the hottest and
driest deserts in North America. It is the U.S. Marine
Corps' largest training facility, occupying approximately
935 square miles (598,400 acres).
The
data presented here is from the Natural Resources and
Environmental Activities Branch on Twentynine Palms.
It comprises GIS data, Environmental Data, and Cultural
and Resource data. There are also a number of online
documents based on environmental research done on the
base.
